Welcome to Year 2!

There are four year two classes, one located in the main building and three in relocatable classrooms.

The year two teachers and LSAs are very enthusiastic and committed to providing a stimulating and challenging environment in which the pupils may learn.

The curriculum is broad and balanced using a mainly thematic approach and this is enhanced by first hand experiences wherever possible such as visits made to places of interest within the locality.
Each year, the pupils take part in a range of activities within the local Schools community.

Each pupil's academic progress is monitored continuously with opportunities given to extend or support their individual needs as appropriate.  Good liaison is maintained with the junior school with bridging projects to ensure pupils undergo a smooth transition to Key Stage 2.
